Set up IPTV on Samsung & LG Smart TV
Most Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs from 2018 onwards can run an IPTV player from their own app store, so you do not need an extra box.
You need
- Samsung or LG TV from 2018 or later
- The welcome email with your login
- About 10 minutes
Open the app store
On Samsung, press Home and open Apps. On LG, open the LG Content Store.
Install a player
Search for IPTV Smarters Pro or the player named in your welcome email, and install it.
Note the device ID if asked
Some TV players show a MAC address or device key on first launch. Send it to us by email or chat and we activate it within the hour during opening times.
Sign in
Enter your Xtream Codes details, or the M3U link from your welcome email, and wait for the channels to load.
Tips from support
- TV apps are slower than a Fire TV Stick or Android box. If the menus feel sluggish, a stick is a worthwhile upgrade.
- Use a network cable if your TV has an Ethernet port. TV Wi-Fi chips are often weaker than those in streaming sticks.
