Set up IPTV on Amazon Fire TV Stick
The Fire TV Stick is the cheapest reliable way to add IPTV to any TV with an HDMI port. You install a player app with the Downloader app, then sign in with the details from your welcome email.
You need
- Fire TV Stick (4K or 4K Max recommended)
- The welcome email with your login
- About 10 minutes
Allow the installer
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources for Downloader. If Developer options is missing, open About and click your device name seven times.
Install Downloader
From the home screen, search for Downloader (orange icon) and install it.
Install the player
Open Downloader and enter the player download code from your welcome email. Install the app when the download finishes. TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro both work well.
Sign in
Open the player, choose Xtream Codes login, and enter the username, password and server URL from your email.
Load the guide
Wait one to two minutes while channels and the programme guide load. Then pick a channel and you are done.
Tips from support
- Use the 4K or 4K Max model. The basic Lite stick has less memory and slows down with large channel lists.
- If the picture stutters, connect an Ethernet adapter. It costs little and fixes most Wi-Fi problems.
